Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival at Cochin
Welcome to the Exotic Kerala Tour!!!
Upon your arrival at Cochin International airport, you will receive a warm welcome by Wander India Tours’ representative. Later, you will be transferred to the pre-booked hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure or you can choose your own activities. In the evening, explore the local markets nearby to your hotel. Later, enjoy the dinner at any traditional restaurant. Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 Cochin – Munnar
Today after breakfast, you will leave for Munnar which is an exotic hill station. The hill station is also
known as the Nature Lover’s Paradise. After reaching, check-in into a resort/hotel. Later, leave to
explore the top-most prominent places of Munnar which include Echo Point, Cinema Shooting Point,
Gundala Lake, Elephant Arrival Point, Jungle Honey Bee Nest and much more.
In the evening, visit Tata Tea Museum and see how tea is being manufactured. Later, enjoy the leisurely
walk nearby to your hotel. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 Munnar - Thekkady
Enjoy the delicious breakfast in the morning and then leave for the next destination, Thekkady. The Thekkady is home to the popular Periyar National Park which is known for its rich flora and fauna. Upon arrival at Thekkady, check-in into a hotel/resort. Relax for a while and then explore the nearby village to experience the village culture and lifestyle. Also, enjoy a boat ride in the Periyar Lake and see an extensive range of wild animals at the Periyar National Park. In the evening, enjoy a nature walk and then return back to your hotel/resort for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 Thekkady - Alleppey
After breakfast, you will check-out from the hotel/resort and leave for Alleppey which is the next
destination of the tour. The place is quite popular for the backwaters. After reaching Alleppey, check-in into a houseboat and refresh yourself. Alleppey is also called the ‘Venice of the East’ as it blessed with
incredible natural beauty. Later, leave for backwater cruise to enjoy the beauty of Kerala’s backwaters.
Later, return to your hotel/resort for delicious dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5 Alleppey - Kovalam
After enjoying the backwaters of Kerala in Alleppey, you will leave for Kovalam which is called the beach capital of Kerala. Upon your arrival at Kovalam, check-in into the hotel, refresh yourself and visit Kovalam Beach. Here at the beach, you can participate in a range of activities such as swimming, sunbathing, and various other water sports. Later in the evening, explore the markets nearby to your hotel. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 Kovalam - Kanyakumari - Kovalam
Today, you will go for a full day trip to Kanyakumari. Enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning and then you will be driven towards Kanyakumari. It is also known as the Land’s End Point. On the way, visit Padmanabhapuram Palace which was built way back in the 15 th Century by the Maharaja of Travancore. En-route also visit, Sucheendram Temple.
Here at Kanyakumari, you can opt for a thrilling boat ride to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial. The memorial made after Swami Vivekananda as he used to meditate here. In the evening, you will return back to Kovalam. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.
