Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival at Delhi
Welcome to Rajasthan Forts and Palaces Tour! Wander India Tours welcome you on your arrival at Delhi international airport. Upon your arrival at Delhi airport, you will receive a warm welcome by our representative. After relax for a while, you can explore the local markets of the city. You can also do some shopping of your choice. Later, enjoy the dinner at any traditional restaurant in the city. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel
Day 2 Delhi Sightseeing
The 2nd day of the tour will go into exploring the famous attractions of Delhi city. After breakfast, you will leave for a Delhi sightseeing tour. Some of the prominent places to visit include Red Fort, India Gate, Parliament House, Jama Masjid, Gandhi memorial (Rajghat), Qutub Minar, Humayun Tomb, and others. In the evening, explore Chandhini Chowk markets where you can enjoy Rickshaw (traditional bicycle) ride and try out some street food. Later return back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3 Delhi – Mandawa
The next destination of the tour is Mandawa. After breakfast in the morning, you will leave for Mandawa. En-route, you can enjoy your lunch at the roadside Dhaba which will be a great experience. Upon reaching Mandawa, you will be transferred to a pre-booked hotel. In the evening, you will visit Shekhawari region where you will find incredible painted Havelis of Mandawa. If time permits, enjoy the famous Camel ride. Later, you will return back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4 Mandawa – Bikaner
After a mighty breakfast in the morning, you will be driven towards your next destination which is Bikaner. On your arrival at Bikaner, you will be guided to the pre-booked hotel. Relax for a while and then visit Junagarh Fort which was built way back in 1611 AD. Other prominent places to explore in the city include Anup Mahal, Karan Mahal, and Bijai Phool Mahal. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 Bikaner – Jaisalmer
The next destination of the tour is Jaisalmer. After breakfast, our representative will drive you towards the Jaisalmer. En-route, visit some local villages and also enjoy the lunch at roadside restaurant. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to a pre-booked hotel. Rest of the day is leisure to enjoy your own. In the evening, you can explore local markets where you can buy some traditional handicrafts products. Later enjoy dinner at any famous restaurant of in the city. After a delicious dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 Jaisalmer Sightseeing
The 6th day of the tour is to explore the famous attractions of Jaisalmer. After breakfast, you will leave for a sightseeing tour of the city. First places to explore here is Jaisalmer Fort which is built on the highest point of Trikuta hill and is considered one of the biggest forts in India. Other attractions which you can explore here include Megh durbar, medieval temples, Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli, Patwon-Ki-Haveli, Lodurva, and others. Later, you can enjoy the famous camel ride. In the evening, explore the local markets if time permits. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 7 Jaisalmer – Jodhpur
Enjoy the breakfast in the morning and you will leave for Jodhpur which is next destination of the tour. On your arrival at Jodhpur, you will be transferred to the pre-booked hotel. After refreshing, you will Mehrangarh Fort which is one of the largest Forts in India. Here, you will find many palaces with incredible architecture design that takes one back to the 19th century. Later, explore the popular Jaswant Thada house which was the house of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. In the evening, you can enjoy the shopping at the local market. Later, enjoy dinner at any famous restaurant in the city. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 8 Jodhpur – Udaipur
The next destination of the tour is Udaipur. After breakfast, our representative will drive you to Udaipur. On the way to Udaipur, stop at Ranakpur to visit famous temples including famous Chaturmukh temple. On your arrival at Udaipur, you will be guided to a pre-booked hotel. Rest of the day is at leasure. In the evening, you will explore local markets of Udaipur. Later enjoy dinner at famous restaurant in the city. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 9 Udaipur Sightseeing
The 9th day of the tour will go into exploring the famous attractions of Udaipur. After breakfast, you will leave for the Udaipur sightseeing tour. First visit Saheliyon Ki Bari and then visit famous Jagdish temple which is popular for its great architecture of Indo-Aryan. Other attractions of Udaipur include City Palace, Lake Pichola, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir (art museum), and others. In the evening, you can go for a boat ride on Pichola Lake. Day 10 Udaipur – Pushkar
Today after breakfast, you will leave for Pushkar which is next destination of the tour. On the way towards Pushkar, you can visit some local villages to experience their culture, tradition and lifestyle. Upon arrival at Pushkar, you will be guided to the pre-booked hotel. Later visit famous Pushkar Lake, Brahma temple and the Ghats. In the evening, you can visit camel breeding farm and local market. After dinner, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 11 Pushkar – Jaipur
Enjoy the delicious breakfast in the morning and then you will be driven to Jaipur, the Pink city of Rajasthan. On the way towards Jaipur, you can enjoy the lunch at roadside resturant. On your arrival at Jaipur, you will be transferred to the pre-booked hotel. Rest of the day is free to enjoy your own. In the evening, you can explore the local markets of the city to buy some wonderful handicrafts products. After dinner, stay overnight at hotel.
Day 12 Jaipur Sightseeing
The 12th day of the tour will go into exploring the famous attractions of Jaipur. Some of the prominent places to explore here include Amber Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, and so on. In the evening, you can visit theme restaurant called Chowki Dhaniu where you can enoy folk music and culture program, followed by delicious dinner. Later, return back to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 13 Jaipur – Agra
The next destination of the tour is Agra. On the way towards Agra, you can visit Fatehour Sikri. After reaching Agra, you will be transferred to the pre-booked hotel. Later, visit some famous attractions of the city including Taj Mahal- one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Itmad-ud-Daula Tomb, and others. In the evening, you can visit some local markets of Agra and buy handicraft products. Later, enjoy the dinner at any famous restaurant and then stay overnight at the hotel.
